Louise Fudge Hair Salon In Heswall Is Proud To Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is organised by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and the importance of early detection, and to raise money for research and treatment.
Founded in 1993, the Tickled Pink campaign has helped fuel research across the entire spectrum of the disease - from tumor biology, lifestyle and genetics, survivorship, treatment, and metastasis, making an indelible mark in the diagnosis, care, and prevention of breast cancer.
On Thursday 19th October, Louise and the team held a special Blowdry Masterclass to raise money to help make life-saving breast cancer research and vital support happen.
The evening was a great success. There was fizz on arrival, live demos, and gorgeous goody bags for all guests. The team raised a HUGE £937.50 for charity.
Salon Owner Louise was was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 9th wanted to share her experience and let everyone know that keeping a positive mindset is essential during such a time of uncertainty. You can read more about Louise's story in the Wirral Globe.
